A standard Offer Letter would your company’s logo on the top of the page, followed by Offer Letter in bold centred on the sentence with the date on the right as shown in the sample.

Start off with “Dear (Name),” and congratulating him/her on passing the interview(s) and you are pleased to extend an offer to them. The Offer Letter should include title/position, salary, official working hours and days, work location, paid annual leave and medical leave.

End off the letter with the signature of the authorised personnel’s signature, name and designation.

Put simply, an Offer Letter is like a quick 1 to 2 page summary of an employment contract.

Tip: Create a separate appendix file for your benefits as different levels of employees have different benefits.
